Workshop LOTUS (Let's Open Tourism for US) Sète - France (2011)
Let's Open Tourism for US is an ERASMUS intensive programme aiming to analyse three towns rich in historical and cultural heritage with a mind to discovering new and innovative ways to make them more accessible. In short the project aims to promote the idea of inclusion in the study of architecture. Each of the towns that the LOTUS project will be visiting are seaside towns; often more difficult to make accessible to all, due to their geography. In 2011, the LOTUS Project travelled to Sete for the first of these intensive programmes. Next year they will be heading to Bonifacio in Corsica and in 2013 to La Reunion for the final leg of the journey.
